Many people know that Victoria offers stunning views and landscapes, but it is a lesser-known fact that Victoria is also a hub of activity for many visitors and locals! As the capital of British Columbia, Victoria is a popular place for gatherings and conferences of all kinds. 2025 brings many reasons to visit Victoria besides the usual attractions, and these include a variety of special events and conferences. Jazz Fest

Ya like jazz? Each year, the city of Victoria celebrates jazz music with a week-long festival. This year, the festival will be held across multiple different venues from June 20th-29th. Some events are free to the public and family friendly, while others are ticketed at 19+.

Victoria Pride Parade

Celebrate love in Victoria this July with the Victoria Pride Society! The event kicks off with a wonderfully over the top parade downtown, leading thousands of spectators to the festival grounds full of live music, performances, vendors, and food trucks! This event is entirely free (the park collects donations for LGBTQ+ charities) and is fun for the whole family!

Victoria Dragon Boat Festival
Each August, Victoria hosts an annual Dragon Boat Festival. Watch edge-of-the-seat dragon boat races in the Inner Harbour, enjoy live music and performances, explore local vendors, and grab a bite to eat from food vendors at the event!

Rifflandia

Visiting Victoria in September and unsure of what to do? Check out our local music festival, Rifflandia! Held from September 12-14, Rifflandia invites artists of various levels of fame to the stage for festival goers to enjoy. In past years, the stage has hosted artists such as Charli XCX, Lorde, Cypress Hill, Salt-N-Pepa, and countless other musical icons. Whether you attend to see an artist of your dreams, or to discover new artists to love, Rifflandia is a family friendly event to remember.
